John J. Mahoney
John J. Mahoney, of Brockton, passed away September 17, 2018 at the age of 68. Born in Boston, John was raised and educated in Brockton. He was a US Army Veteran who served in both Vietnam and Germany and later worked as a cook. John enjoyed sports, being outdoors, and animals, especially his dog.
Devoted son of the late John and Helen (Sullivan) Mahoney. Loving brother of Margaret Mahoney of Brockton. Dear cousin of John Carney of Duxbury and Kathleen Massey of W. Bridgewater.
Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Friday, September 21st beginning at 8am followed by a funeral mass at St. Edith Stein Church in Brockton at 9am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.

dear Peggy : Sorry to hear about John's passing. He did have some tough times and tried to overcome them. Rest in peace, John. Many blessings. Sorry for our absence, but illness and hospitalization have set the family back for a while.
