Geraldine R. (Martin) Foster

Geraldine R. (Martin) Foster, a lifelong resident of Avon, passed away June 17, 2018 at the age of 80. Geraldine was a devoted parishioner of St. Michael’s Church, a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Avon VFW, and an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.

Beloved wife of the late Edward A. Foster, Jr. Loving mother of Kevin Foster and his wife Nancy of Avon, Donna Cadman of Raynham, Deborah Cooper of Wareham and her husband Gerard, Sharon Dalton of Raynham, Sheryl Gillis of Stoughton, and Susan Bagtaz and her husband Richard of Avon. Devoted sister of Kathy Hawkins of Framingham and the late Frank, James, and Maureen Martin. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Friday, June 22nd at 11:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Michael’s Church in Avon at 12pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, June 21st from 4-8pm. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers, donations in Geraldine’s memory can be made to Seasons Hospice, 597 Randolph Ave., Milton, MA 02186 or the Professional Fire Fighters of Avon, ALC 3857, 150 Main St., Avon, MA 02322.

Dear Foster family I am very sorry of hearing the passing of Gerry what Great mother she was not only to her children but her children friends growing up so my party's at the house THE POST so so many memories Gerry always made you feel like you where FAMILY I STOP IN TO SEE Gerry last year. Came to the back door and yelled out her name. She gentle yelled. Back Dunphy that you get in here well laughed and talk about the old times for a HOUR so glad I stop by that day ill miss her.
