David and Debbie, my deepest regrets that I cannot be with you and your families to honor your father today and tomorrow. I am in homebound recovery following two hospitalizations for pneumonia and sepsis.
As I have noted in a tribute I wrote yesterday, your father and I shared a dedication to serving the schoolchildren of Avon for 8 years----as he was with all of his relationships with others, he recognized no limits to giving everything he could without any expectation of return.
I will never forget the genuine goodness his every interaction with others reflected God Bless Bob and all of you who he was so proud of..George vlahos
