Cheryl, in my heart we will live always as teenagers: swimming at Swifts Beach, going to the Arcade by ourselves, our first "car date", luaus around your pool, peroxide and chlorine making us blonder and blonder. We learned to do the twist, watched American Bandstand, and wrote innumerable letters to each other of our passions for "Chip" and "Mike" and "Billy". We went to Weymouth High football games on cold Thanksgiving mornings, and I spent most of my extra time at your house, talking late into the night, a second home to me. I got to enjoy your neighborhood friends, especially Jane. You had a huge spontaneous laugh, and once we started laughing, one laugh would lead to another. Our Moms were like that. I'll always hear it, along with your teasing--we called each other 'brats"--our mothers called us that too! I will be forever grateful that we had those times. We were so happy(and teenage unhappy) and so innocent and so carefree.
I treasure those times with love and smiles and feel your presence on a blanket on the beach.

Sad to hear of your passing, will remember old times together in Avon.
It doesn't seem so long ago you were in my wedding.
