Oreste G. Santini

Oreste G. Santini, of Randolph, passed away October 21, 2016 at the age of 80. Born, raised, and educated in Italy, Oreste moved to the U.S. in 1955 and had been a resident of Randolph for 35 years. Oreste enjoyed music. He played the baritone and clarinet, and was a member of the Boston Roma Band. He also loved to make his own wine.

Beloved husband of Dolores (Bertacchini) Santini. Loving father of Simona Magliozzi and her husband Greg of Bridgewater, Denise Santini and her husband Giancarlos Baldini of Quincy, and Alessandro Santini and his wife Lucie of Holbrook. Devoted brother of Giorgio Santini, Claudio Santini, and Rina Bertolaccini, all of Medford, and Maria Cristiana Ferrini of Dedham. Dear grandfather of Talia, Nadia, Isabella, Jonathan, Jackson, Matilde, Matteo, and Marco.

Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Wednesday, October 26th at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday, October 25th from 4-8pm. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph. He has always been loved and has always made laughter and fun times to all of us. May his pain be gone and peace and joy set forth.
