George A. Papp

George A. Papp, of Avon, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2016 at the age of 73. George was raised and educated in Randolph, graduating from Randolph High School, and was a resident of Avon for the past 40 years. He proudly served in the US Navy on the USS Shenandoah on the front line during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Loving son of late Anna D Salisbury (Papp) and Joseph C Papp. Survived by Former Spouse Mildred Papp of Avon, Loving father of Judy Papp of Avon, Donna Mann and son-in-law Eric Mann of Avon. Also survived by George, Paul, and Angela Papp. Devoted brother of Joseph Papp, Betty Gould, John Papp, and the late James and Robert Papp. The very best Grampy of Tiffany, Millie-Anne, Makayla, Eric, Olivia, and Dani-Lynn. Also loved by his grand dogs Lexi & Daisy. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his Family. He was an avid Patriots, Red Sox & Bruins Fan. Loved by so many and will surly be missed.

Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Thursday, October 20th from 4-7pm followed by a funeral service at 7pm.
