Barbara A. (Elliott) Wood

Barbara A. (Elliott) Wood, of Randolph, passed away peacefully October 13, 2016 at the age of 71. Born in Quincy, Barbara was raised and educated in Braintree. She had been a resident of Randolph for 38 years. Barbara enjoyed walking, especially around Castle Island.

Beloved wife of James Wood. Loving mother of Kevin Wood of Canton and James Wood, Jr. and his wife Natalia of Randolph. Devoted sister of Geraldine Egan of Shrewsbury, Marjorie Murphy of Bridgewater, Paula Zanca of Bridgewater, Jean Pinnetti of Stoughton, and the late Harold and James Elliott. Also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler and Giavanna.

Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Tuesday, October 18th at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday, October 17th from 4-8pm. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. En lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
