Elaine I. (Johnson) Drew
Elaine I. (Johnson) Drew, 77, of Avon, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Life Care Center of Raynham after a period of failing health. Elaine was born and raised in South Boston where she graduated from South Boston High School in 1957. She was the wife of the late Kenneth G. Drew and lived in Avon for almost 50 years. She is survived by her sons Kenneth and his wife Kathleen of Raynham and James and his wife Susan of Whitman. She was the proud Grandmother of Laura, Brendon, Emily, Michael, Ryan, Steven and Matthew and the proud Great Grandmother of Zachary, Kyle, and Jacob. She was also the sister of the late Richard "Jay" Johnson and the late Paul "Yippy" Johnson.
Elaine worked for many years at Research Packaging of Stoughton and Randolph where she made many lifelong friends. She enjoyed playing Bingo for many years and going out to lunch with “The Girlsâ€. Elaine will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Saturday, August 13th at 8:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Michael’s Church in Avon at 9am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, August 12th from 4-8pm. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery, Avon.
