Timothy J. O'Neil

Timothy Joseph O’Neil,88, a longtime resident of Holbrook, MA and most recently a resident at Sunrise of Plymouth Beach Senior Care, died on March 13,2024.

Timothy was the husband of the late Marilyn O’Neil (Keswick).

Timothy was born in Charlestown,MA to his parents Timothy and Jane(Jennie) O’Neil, immigrants from Ireland. He earned a Masters degree in education from Boston State. He was a few credits shy of his Doctorate degree but raising his family was his number one priority always. He was an elementary school teacher for the Boston school system for 35 years. He retired from the Mozart Elementary School in Roslindale,MA. He was an Army veteran during the Korean War era.
Timothy’s biggest accomplishment was his five children, Gary and his wife Robin of Marshfield, Timothy of Holbrook, Christopher and his wife Veronica of Arizona, Susan Storie and her husband Robert of Centerville, and Thomas and his wife Kristi of Oregon. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kyle, Lindsey, Andrew, Avery, Parker, and Brady. Also survived my many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret, and brothers, William, David, and Gerald.

Funeral from the Hurley Currie Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Friday, March 22nf at 10:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph Church in Holbrook at 11am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 21 from 4-7pm. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Late US Army Veteran.
