Bob Jordan Monteiro

Bob Jordan Monteiro, 30, passed away on August 13th 2021.

Jordan was born on September 20, 1990 in Boston, Massachusetts. Growing up, Jordan moved often between Cabo Verde, Portugal, and the U.S. before finally moving to Randolph Massachusetts at the age of 12. As a teenager, Jordan was active, inquisitive, and passionate about all things art and poetry. He enjoyed writing music and dreamed of becoming a Portuguese lyricist. Jordan cultivated his artistic abilities, becoming a trusted and favorite tattoo artist for many in the metro Boston and South Shore communities. Friends and relatives describe him best for his boisterous laugh and loving bear hugs. Jordan is survived by his 8 year old son Alijah. Surviving in addition to his son, are his parents Paulo (Bobby) and Liliana, four sisters; Zyon, Celina, Nayla, and Luisa and three brothers; Denis, Nirvana, and Ismael. He also leaves behind his great aunt, Nanda and great grandmother, Até, who raised him after his move from Portugal.

Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Thursday, August 26th from 5-8pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. On Friday, August 27th at 9am, all are welcome to gather for procession leaving at 9:15am to Cavalry Cemetery in Boston. A graveside service will take place at 10am.
